Tyrol is a winter sports centre in Austria located in the western part of Austria. Some of the top ski resorts in Europe are located in Tyrol. To the vacationing skier Tyrol provides a setting best described as a winter wonderland, a composition of sunny blue skies, Alpine mountains, deep green forests, glittering white snow, and quaint villages, populated by a people whose hospitality is renown and whose chief interest is your well-being.

Lift passes generally are less expensive than those in the United States, and there are substantially reduced rates available for children under 15 years of age. There is also a ski nursery for young children, and a ski kindergarten for children from four years of age. Finally, an English-speaking Tyrolian Tour leader will be available at your hotel each evening to answer your questions on ski conditions, evening activities, shopping hints, transportation, and other matters, and to assist you in purchasing discount lift tickets and Austrian currency. The prices throughout this home page are in Euros. There are price variations on lodging and lift tickets from high season to low season. Generally, high season consists of the Christmas/New Year holiday period and the month of February. Bargain prices and great skiing are available over the Thanksgiving holiday to the start of the Christmas holidays and throughout the months of January and March.
