Ski Rentals You may rent ski equipment or bring your own, or buy ski equipment while you are there. If you travel by plane to Europe, a ski bag containing one or two pairs of skis counts as one piece of luggage. (If within weight limits, two pieces of luggage are allowed per person without extra charge by most airlines.) You can rent ski equipment at every ski resort throughout Tyrol. The cost for a set of good quality skis, boots, and poles for an entire week is about EUR 49 - 83,50 for adults and about EUR 24-46 for children. Snow Board equipment (board and boots) for the week - appx. EUR 80-110 for adults and for children 50-77. Qualified English-speaking technicians are available at most ski shops to give you their personal recommendations on ski equipment rentals and purchases. They will also tune, sharpen, and wax any skis you bring with you to Tyrol.
